Bright Start Childcare & Learning Center!
Here at Bright Start Therapy and Bright Start Childcare & Learning Center, we not only offer educational services but also therapeutic services in a safe, clean and nurturing environment.
The Bright Start Therapy clinic provides individualized speech/language therapy services and occupational therapy services for children of all ages and disabilities. All of our clinicians hold at least a master’s degree, have been fingerprinted, are licensed by the state of Maine, hold their certificate of competence and attend yearly classes to further their education in their respective fields.
Bright Start Childcare & Learning center is a fully insured and licensed preschool facility by the state of Maine. This center has passed all yearly inspections and complies with all laws and regulations set forth by the state of Maine. All of our staff are fingerprinted, go through an extensive interview process, and attend yearly classes to further their education. All staff hold at least an associate degree while the owner/director has obtained her master’s degree. All preschool staff are First Aid and CPR certified and attend yearly Health and Safety Orientation, Infant Safe Sleep and Period of Purple Crying Training, Protect Factors training, Infectious Disease Training, Mandated Reporter Training at a minimum.

I had the pleasure of visiting the daycare today with my therapy dog, Ellie! The staff and children were so wonderful! The children were great listeners and used gentle hands with Ellie. My sons love it here. They have a lot of fun, and some days even ask if they can stay longer when I pick them up. At the same time, I have seen a big improvement with them when it comes to their speech, they are constantly asking questions now, and they have improved in just about every area tremendously. In this day and age when both parents have to work you want a safe place for your children to grow and learn. I feel that Bright Start Childcare & Learning Center provides that and is giving them an amazing start to life.

My 3 y/o twins love to go to “school” every day. Since starting at Bright Start Childcare and Bright Start Therapy, they barely spoke, and didn’t use the potty. Now they will not stop talking, talking about everything they learn, and are fully potty trained. They are excited to go every day and jplay with their friends, play outside or with the toys. They love the art projects, play with a vast selection of toys, sensory activities, etc.

A great facility with expert clinicians! We have used both the occupational and speech therapists at Bright Start Therapy. Beata provided expert speech therapy services and my daughter loved her sessions. Mrs. B was such a hit in our family, that my younger son would beg me to send him to speech therapy too. Mrs. B gave my daughter a little graduation party when she finished her speech therapy and even gave my little guy his own special therapy session.
