Ms. Ashley is a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Educator who brings energy, structure, and warmth to the preschool classroom at Bright Start Childcare & Learning Center. With over six years of experience as a Lead Preschool Teacher, she has built a strong foundation in child development, curriculum planning, and meaningful family communication.

Ms. Ashley began her early childhood education journey in 2018, maintaining her leadership role and classroom responsibilities through organizational changes. In her role, she is committed to active supervision, ensuring the safety and well-being of every child in her care. She creates and implements weekly curriculum plans that support all areas of development, from motor skills to language, social-emotional growth, and cognitive learning. Her natural ability to balance flexibility with structured routines helps create a classroom that is both nurturing and productive.

What inspired Ms. Ashley to pursue a career in childcare was her mother, whose encouragement and example sparked a love for working with young children. She especially treasures seeing children accomplish goals they’ve worked hard on, and she never tires of the laughter and joy that come from all the funny things kids say.

Ms. Ashley is currently in the process of completing her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, having completed the coursework and awaiting her exam. She is known for being hardworking, fast-learning, and someone who thrives in a busy, hands-on environment.

What Ms. Ashley enjoys most about Bright Start is the variety of experiences the center offers—from music and karate to library visits—which create exciting learning opportunities for children and staff alike. She values the relationships she builds with families and finds deep joy in seeing each child grow and thrive.

Outside of work, Ms. Ashley enjoys reading, crocheting, and hiking. A fun fact about her is that she is adopted and part of a large family—she has two brothers and seven sisters! Her unique background and life experiences bring empathy, adaptability, and a deep sense of care to everything she does in the classroom.
